What is School Picture Day?

School Picture Day is a special event for early childhood photography held at your daycare or preschool. During this day, we capture individual children's portraits, along with class and staff photos based on your selected package.

What ages do you photograph?

We specialize in early childhood photography, covering ages 6 months through kindergarten, and we also offer children's portraits including staff portraits for school picture day.

How long does picture day take?

Most schools complete children's portraits during school picture day in just 1 to 3 hours, depending on enrollment size. Our early childhood photography team works efficiently to minimize disruption to the school day.

How do we schedule picture day?

Schools can contact us directly to choose an available date for their children's portraits. We work around your school's schedule and needs, ensuring a smooth experience for school picture day and for early childhood photography.

Do parents need to fill anything out beforehand?

Yes. A form will be sent home with each child prior to school picture day. Parents will select one color backdrop for their child's individual portraits, which are an important part of early childhood photography. Additionally, they can include any notes about their child—such as preferences, personality tips, or anything helpful for encouraging smiles. This approach helps us create a smoother, more comfortable photography experience for every child.

What if my child is absent on picture day?

We offer make-up day options for children's portraits based on the school picture day schedule. If those aren't feasible, individual make-up sessions may also be available for early childhood photography.

What if my child doesn't cooperate?

We specialize in early childhood photography, focusing on young children. By incorporating multiple expressions and employing patience, breaks, and fun engagement, we capture beautiful children's portraits and ensure natural smiles, especially on school picture day.

Can parents attend picture day?

To maintain a calm environment and keep children focused during early childhood photography sessions, parents typically do not attend, especially on school picture day.

How do you handle large groups of children?

In our early childhood photography sessions, we focus on capturing children's portraits one at a time in a calm, structured flow to prevent overcrowding and stress, especially on school picture day.

Are you insured and background checked?

Yes - we carry professional liability insurance and comply with all required childcare photography standards, ensuring that our children's portraits from school picture day meet the highest quality in early childhood photography.

How are products delivered?

All images from our children's portraits sessions, including those captured during early childhood photography events like school picture day, are delivered digitally through a password-protected online gallery. Print products are then shipped directly to families or the school, depending on the setup.

How long does it take to receive orders?

Delivery times vary by product, but after purchasing children's portraits or digital downloads, you’ll receive immediate access. Meanwhile, prints, including those from early childhood photography sessions, typically arrive within 1 - 2 weeks, just in time for school picture day.
